I often joke that I may not remember people's names, or even their faces, but I never forget the contents of their toy boxes! Last night at the always fantastic TEEZ Play Party hosted by Sydney Kink Social my little joke become reality when I had the honour of meeting the owners of a paddle I created way back in 2012. 

I can confess the names and faces did not immediately ring a bell, but the sight of their paddle instantly brought back memories of the timbers it was made from (wenge and Huon pine) and where it met its owners for the first time (The Gathering Fetish Night Market held at the Citigate Central Hotel in Sydney in September 2012.)

The paddle has seen much use in the course of the past decade, but is still in excellent condition, which is testament to the care its owners have taken with it over the years.

My thanks go to the owners of this paddle, both for allowing me the opportunity to reacquaint myself with it after such a long time, and for taking such care of it. I wish them and their paddle many more years of fun.
