Making the most of nature's beauty, but not quite the way nature intended. Every paddle is a unique piece of functional art.
Most paddles are designed directly onto the piece of wood with pencil or chalk, to ensure the shape is in harmony with the natural features and variation in colour and wood grain.
Whatever its size, each paddle is carefully shaped to ensure it feels balanced in the hand. In nearly every case the blade is thinner than the handle to help keep the centre of balance closer to the handle and give the implement a feeling of lightness and ease of movement through the air.
The vast array of timbers utilised provides both aesthetic and functional variety, with the heaviest timbers being roughly four times denser than the lightest.
