Product Description

A classic knife style paddle with a rounded bevel on the lower edge and straight cut on the top. It's a mid-weight implement so it's not too thuddy and not too stingy, and not very good as a kitchen knife! 

The paddle is made from blackheart sassafras with a brass handle hole and details. It has a smooth Danish oil finish.

Blackheart sassafras is a unique Australian timber found most in Tasmania. The black streaks are the result of a fungal infection in the tree and therefore do not neccessarily follow the grain lines.

This unique paddle was created by Miss Emm in her workshop in Sydney's inner west, where beautiful impact toys come to life.
