A classic little cleaver style paddle with the distinct colour streaks of blackheart sassafras creating the look of a bevelled knife edge. The generous blade width allows for a big impact area and some wonderful smacking sounds.

One side of the blade has a rounded bevel on the front and bottom edge and the other side. The holes in the handle and blade and the two dots on the top of the blade are made from brass. 

Blackheart sassafras is a very distinctive timber with its black/brown streaks. It grows in Tasmania, home to many of Australia's finest timbers.

As with all Miss Emm paddles this was hand crafted here in Sydney by Miss Emm.
