A long pane who's swing will be felt for a long time :)  The rattan shaft tapers from 22 to 10mm along its length whilst maintaining its 25mm (1 inch) width, which gives this pane a nice stiff feel with just a hint of flex. The Australian Red Cedar handle is a single solid picee of wood fully embedded in the rattan. The wavy line of dots on one face are made from brass to match the handle hole lining.
